This Cookie and Tracking Policy explains how Duely uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our application portal.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise your device and store information about your session or preferences.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies in the Duely Application
The Duely application (app.duely.com.au) sets only strictly necessary cookies. They are needed to sign you in and keep your session secure, and the application will not work without them. The application does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
- Session: keeps you signed in. Your session is held on our servers; the cookie is sealed so it cannot be read or changed in your browser.
- Sign-in: holds the state of a sign-in for a few minutes while you are redirected to our sign-in service.
- Sign-in service: our self-hosted sign-in service sets its own session cookies while you sign in and stay signed in.
If your browser blocks these cookies, the Duely application will not function.
2.2 Analytics and Advertising Tags on Our Public Website
Our public website (duely.com.au) loads the following tags when a page loads. They set cookies and send the pages you visit, browser identifiers and device details to the companies named, so that we can measure website traffic, show you Duely advertisements on other platforms and measure whether our advertising led to a demo booking. These tags are not used in the Duely application.
- Google Analytics: website traffic measurement.
- Google Ads: conversion measurement for our search advertising.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): retargeting and conversion measurement.
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing): conversion measurement for our search advertising.

Our website chat assistant stores in your browser's local storage how many questions you have asked and whether you asked for a follow-up; it sets no cookies. The demo booking form is provided by Cal.com and may set its own cookies when you use it.
3. Managing Cookies and Tags
The analytics and advertising tags in section 2.2 load when a page of our public website loads.
- Browser settings: you can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, to block third-party cookies, or to alert you when a website sets or reads cookies. Blocking the tags in section 2.2 does not stop our public website from working.
- Tracker blockers: you can use a browser extension or privacy setting that blocks analytics and advertising tags.
- Provider settings: you can opt out of Meta's use of this data through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
- Strictly necessary cookies: the cookies in section 2.1 do not require consent, because the Duely application cannot function without them.
4. Third-Party Tracking
Website chat assistant: questions typed into the chat on our public website are sent to our website chat providers in the United States to produce an answer, as described in section 4.1 of our Privacy Policy. Please do not enter personal or client information in the website chat.
We do not sell cookie data. Data from Google Analytics is used by Duely to improve our website and services.
Data handled by analytics and advertising providers:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; Google uses them to derive approximate location and then discards them. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Google processes this data in the United States and other countries where it operates, under its own privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel: Meta receives the pages you visit on duely.com.au and a browser identifier, and processes this data in the United States and other countries where it operates, under its own data policy.
- Microsoft Advertising: Microsoft receives the pages you visit on duely.com.au and a browser identifier to attribute demo bookings to our search advertising, and processes this data in the United States and other countries where it operates, under Microsoft's privacy statement.
